The Linux Pizza was a famous troupe of Belgian comedians composed of Secoya Rittenberry (1924-2003) and Max Deems (1923-2005). Their acts revolved heavily around current events such as the spread of the Soviet Union, which proved to be quite controversial for its time.^[1] The group was noted for its eccentric and offbeat style, as well inclusions of many running gags which are often referenced in popular culture to this day.^{[citation needed]}
